Terms of Use
Effective November 2, 2026.
1. Who we are and what this covers
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Flamie app and this website (together, "Flamie"), provided by Quiver Beacon LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Flamie you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA; if they conflict, these Terms apply to the extent permitted by Apple. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
2. What Flamie is, and what it is not
Flamie is a motivational app. It reads activity and sleep data from Apple Health and shows it as the state of a flame character, with optional reminders and an optional screen time lock.
Flamie is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Its numbers come from Apple Health and the sensors on your devices and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine or if you have a health condition, and stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Use good judgement and stay aware of your surroundings when walking.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Flamie. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Flamie only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
4. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Flamie on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the Standard EULA and the App Store's usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute Flamie, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Flamie Pro, subscriptions and free trials
- Plans. Flamie is free to download. Flamie Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details.
- Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Free trial. If a plan includes a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Steps are on the support page.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before you are charged the new price.
- Lifetime. "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer Flamie Pro on the App Store, on your Apple Account.
6. The screen time lock
The optional lock uses Apple's Screen Time framework to limit apps you choose until you've earned time. It is a self-management tool, not a parental control or a security product. It depends on Apple's systems and on permissions you can withdraw at any time, and it may not block every app or website in every situation. You are responsible for any app you choose to lock, including ones you may need in an emergency. Phone calls and emergency features are not affected by Flamie.
7. Changes to Flamie
We keep improving Flamie, and we may add, change or remove features, including how points are counted and how the fire responds. If we remove a paid feature that is central to Flamie Pro, we'll tell you in the app.
8. Our content
Flamie, the flame character, its artwork, names, text and software are owned by Quiver Beacon LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Screenshots of your own fire are yours to share.
9. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flamie is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that Flamie will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will change your habits or health.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quiver Beacon LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, health outcomes or profits, arising from your use of Flamie. Our total liability for any claim relating to Flamie is limited to the amount you paid us for Flamie in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
12. Termination
You can stop using Flamie at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 8 through 14 survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
14. Apple
These Terms are between you and Quiver Beacon LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Flamie or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you, as described in the Standard EULA.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version will always be at this address with its effective date. If a change is material, we'll give notice in the app. Continuing to use Flamie after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
